Necklace, rock crystal, rhinestones, gold-plated metal and resin, contemporary creation, signed.
The jewelry designed by Elzbieta Klemensowicz draws inspiration from the Baroque era, the French Renaissance, Slavic Romanticism, and the cabinets of curiosities in the princely courts of Enlightenment Europe, of which her native Poland was the crossroads. Her creations fuse art and fashion. Each piece displays a flamboyant aesthetic, with opulent forms and contrasting colors. Ella K. uses a variety of materials, ranging from fossils, rock crystal, and seashells to antique ceramics and Swarovski crystals, giving her creations a unique and singular touch that makes them true wearable works of art. Faithful to the artist's dream that underpins her approach, Ella K. creates jewelry "that is seen and contemplated like masterpieces."
The artist also creates superb mounted objects, contemporary evocations of the prestigious collections of the Electors of Saxony, of which the prestigious Green Vault in Dresden preserves a precious record. These beautiful pieces are exhibited by Maison Rapin, Quai Voltaire in Paris. Her jewelry is worn and collected by leading figures in art and fashion, such as the whimsical American, Iris Apfel, a great jewelry collector and fashion icon.
