Silver cuff with segments in high relief, Artcurial Edition, signed "Piza", numbered 19/150 copies, circa 1980
“Sculptor of architects”, Arthur-Luiz Piza works with numerous architects and landscapers, integrating his monumental sculptures into major architectural projects in the 1960s, particularly in France. It is expressed in parallel with stainless steel by working it in the form of diagonally twisted ribbons to offer random shapes, breaking the geometric straightness. This cuff perfectly illustrates this technique which is unique to it. His jewelry published by Artcurial in the 80s and 90s was available in bronze, silver, vermeil and gold.
