Oval tray holding moving sticks, white gold, edition of 8 + 4 artist's proofs, signed and numbered, circa 1980
This research is based on the expression of slow movement. Ionesco called his work a “philosophy of slowness”. Whether in his sculptures, fountains or jewelry, Bury uses geometric shapes that he enriches with an imperceptible movement, caused either by a motor for the sculptures, or by the technique of the trembleuse, well known in classic jewelry, which accentuates the mobility thanks to the body movements.
