Isabel Canovas called upon artisans for her creations of luxurious accessories, mixing leather, metal, semi-precious stones, trimmings and fur. She first learned her trade at Dior, before opening her own boutique under her name in 1982, to offer her clients haute couture accessories. The concept was new at the time. Each piece of jewelry was thus made from original drawings and molds, sometimes using up to eight different artisans. Isabel Canovas' pieces are distinguished by their size, their audacity and their sound, leaving in their wake a jingle of chains, bracelets and pearls.
